Hi guys, Just stumbled on your forum a few days ago. I would love to get your opinions on some bikes. My best friend started building cruisers and chopper a few years ago. He has had limited success in sales because he is an artist not a business man. And seems to have no intention of changing his ways. I’ve had him build a handful of bikes from me and would like to sell them on. The cruiser community in Montreal is small and so I would love to know what the Vancouver community things of his designs. Here is a link to one of the bikes I currently have on pinkbike.com http://www.pinkbike.com/buysell/260278/ Be honest guys, brutally if you like. I’m moving to Vancouver in November and would love to continue selling them on the west coast if there is a market. They ride like a dream and I want to share this dream with one and all.

Nice looking bike... The chopper market out here isn't huge but there's more and more of them showing up all the time. With the right marketing I'm sure they'd sell.

I appreciate it!!!

Thanks for looking Bryn, and replying.

I just posted a couple of proper cruisers on pinkbike.com too. If you get the chance check this one out and let me know what you think too please.

I just spent the day ridding around on one of these with my 2 pit bulls. Then I took a spin on an Electra. The green Ed Roth edition of the Rat Fink from a few years back. It feels so different because the wheel base is so short. I don't mean to brag but I think my friend is a genius!!! His bikes are so smooth. I wish I could get more people on these things.

Nice!

Love the green one... Definitely like the springer setup - MTB shock on a cruiser springer, who'd have thunk it? ;)

Feel free to post them in our 'For Sale' forum too! Thus far people have had pretty good luck selling through there.

My best friend started to design and build beach cruisers and choppers several years ago. He now has a small company based in Montreal called "JANE BC". He is an excellent craftsman and makes all his frames by hand. He is a true artist and will customize a bike in every way for his clients. My role in all this is to handle the sales side of his business.
