Elgin, JC Higgins, J.C. Higgins, They're All Sears bikes, and all freaking awesome!! I love that the Firestone bikes are all the same frames too... It's too bad there isn't more information out there about these bikes as they totally kick ass. Yes, they're not quite as good quality as a Schwinn, but they're absolutely serviceable and personally I find they fit taller riders a bit better. One really could ask why AREN'T these bikes ruling the world about now?!?

Beware The Rides Of March - They Tend To Be WET!

Our first calendar ride for 2009 was a bit of a soaker! Still a great time though!!

Yeah, it was wet...

We had a pretty significant turnout anyways though - unfortunately I forgot my camera at home (along with my wallet- d'oh!)... I figure there were around 20 some odd people all together which is great for a wet day like that.

The ride was more or less a "roll from one dry place to the next" kind of thing with the exception of one good stop at Siawash Rock for a while. Let me tell you, I'm 100% behind rain pants for that kind of day!!

Hoping some of the other attendees who shot photos will upload them!!

Next on my list of things to buy... FENDERS!!
