So here we are, a week later...

Turnout was a bit lower last night - not totally surprised given the weather at the beginning of the day. For all of you who stayed inside you missed a beautiful evening. It was warm and clear, perfect riding weather. Meetup was as usual... Glad to see Chopper Ron out with his CCM:

Since the group was somewhat small (I think there were about 10-15 of us) we decided to take a different route. We'd just done the SeaWall on Wednesday anyhow so we cut through the park and headed over towards the West End. Stopped for a chillout/washroom break over at the usual spot, I tossed a quick video of it up here but it was kinda dark so it doesn't show up too well. You can hear the music regardless... I also got a quick little video clip of Serge's chopper in all its nighttime glory - I tossed it in his folder over here

We briefly stopped over at the J-skid spot - there was an unmarked police car hanging out there on Wednesday plus not too many of us were up for skidding... I've got a 7-speed, Amber's hub needs service, Logan has a cracked fork from last week, etc etc etc so we just headed out from there over to our little spot by the Casino.

Actually lost a couple people when we pulled in to the woods there but MOST of us managed to hook up again. Amber shot a couple of pictures of City Hall...

Once we all got back together again (Science World) we headed over towards Granville Island and went up to the top of the Flagpole at Granville Island - nice spot to chill for a while. I was trying to get people up to the park on the other side of 4th but no luck. Missed the tunnel again! En route to Granville Island Chopper Ron managed to get a flat - Mad Dog to the rescue again!

Headed back towards Science World to end out the night - All those SeaBus/SkyTrain folks wanted to get out early. Bah - going home at 11:00 on a Friday night, I dunno what's wrong with them. I mean, I had at LEAST another couple of hours in me. Oh well, I don't have to take any transit to get where I'm going.
