Rollin' rollin' rollin...
Different crew this week!
Popped over the top of the park as we've been doing a bunch lately and then rolled around towards the 9 O'Clock gun. Nigel hadn't seen it before so we kind of had to stop... While we were waiting Michael and another little crew rolled in. We chatted with them till the gun fired and then rolled back towards the roundabout. Michael's group wanted to go over the top of the park, we'd already been that way so we continued past the lagoon and around to second beach.
Cruised right on past our normal stopping point and did the Seawall as far as we could towards Siawash... Ran in to Michael's group again just past second so rolled with them to the fences. They left their bikes behind and climbed on over - we weren't really feeling in to that so we chilled for a little bit and then rolled on out.
Headed on along the lower path towards the west end and popped up to our regular little stopping point there. Chilled for a bit again, good times. We had a couple pub requests so we decided to head on over towards Yagger's (of course)...
Cruised to the woods by the Casino and chilled there for a bit. Serge could see Science World so we lost him to the temptation of home. David had to work in the morning and Amber was feeling tired so they decided they were going to head back up the hill, and Benjamin lives back over in Kits so he wanted to keep going in that general direction. That left Nigel, Mad Dog and myself to finish out the ride.
We cruised back up through downtown past Dix and then headed up and over to Yagger's. Trevor saw us roll up and made sure we were taken care of - they were pretty busy but there were only 3 of us so we were invited to roll on in. Grabbed a couple of beers and some food, eeeeeeeexcellent.
Nigel was parked back over where we started and Mad Dog was going that direction so I said my goodbyes and headed on towards home. Batteries in my tunes were on their last legs heading up the hill but what a night! Lots of good riding and not too many stops, we really kept it going. Good times, what more could I ask for?
