Elgin, JC Higgins, J.C. Higgins, They're All Sears bikes, and all freaking awesome!! I love that the Firestone bikes are all the same frames too... It's too bad there isn't more information out there about these bikes as they totally kick ass. Yes, they're not quite as good quality as a Schwinn, but they're absolutely serviceable and personally I find they fit taller riders a bit better. One really could ask why AREN'T these bikes ruling the world about now?!?

Got My Life Back!!

Thanks to a VERY busy work schedule I've been unable to do much riding as of late... But like I always say you gotta make the most of it!

So as most of you probably noticed I wasn't around last Friday.  I was in the middle of a big office move - yeah yeah, you're thinking packing stuff in to boxes and that's it right?  No way... For the IT guys it's 4 days straight of 14 hours a day... get home, sleep for a bit if you can - personally when I'm in the middle of something like this I can't get my brain to shut off and leave me alone once I try to crash out.  But anyhow, here I am now on the flipside, everything went smooth and we're the heros so it's all good...

I DID manage to meet up with the tail end of the crew last week... Mad Dog, Dylan, Amber and I rode out from Science World into Kits and hit up the Naam for late night beer and food.  Finally got home about 3am just to have to get up again Saturday morning and go back to work.  Well, at least I got out there, right?

This week is 'Bike to Work Week' - I've only been able to pull it off twice due to needing my car to do some work-related errands but I've enjoyed it nonetheless.  My new office is right across the street from Metrotown so the ride home is pretty familiar - basically the Patterson Inbound ride which is pretty good.  I DID try out an alternate route (actually following the official bike route) - not really sure that was such a good idea in a few places.

Anyhow, here we are again on another beautiful Friday.  It's just 10:00 am and already the temperature is up about 18 degrees - tonight should be AWESOME.

Were you guys riding the seawall downtown Friday evening? Because I'm pretty sure I saw you at Broughton.

Is that you??
