Wow - Wednesday was the Canada Day Parade (see photos HERE), Thursday I got out for a quick roll with Chuck and Michael, Friday was F-RIDE-DAY so had a good run and then here we are on Saturday with yet another biking adventure!

Today's trip was Burnaby Lake again, needed to sort out the last bit of our route for the Royal City Show and Shine next week...  All we did today was ride out to the lake and back:

I still gotta figure out how to actually embed these maps into my blog posts - it's nice to be able to link to them and all but actually having it embedded like I used to with Google Maps would be nice... :D

Anyhow, it was freakin' HOT today!! Like way way way too hot.  According to the Weather Network it never got over 24, but the thermometer on my front deck read 28 when I got home.  Barf...

We discovered there's BEER AND FOOD AT BURNABY LAKE!!!!! w00t!!! Gotta remember that for next time...  There's a lounge at the Burnaby Lake Clubhouse plus a pub over at 8 Rinks too!
