Wow, I'm impressed... Vancruisers has been picking up traffic like mad and it's still the middle of winter!
So I really consider Vancruisers to have launched at the end of August 2006 - the site was up for quite a while before that but with not much on it other than the logo and a basic framework for what it would be in the future...
August saw about 2200 page views all told... not too bad for a site with really a fairly narrow range (ie one particular style of bike in one particular city in Canada) in its first month. Growth has been steady on through the past while even though the weather has been terrible and I'm sure more than a few people are looking at their dusty cruisers with flat tires going "Yeah, sure looking forward to riding that again this summer!".
So as January is now officially done (by 2 whole minutes!) I just checked our stats for the last month... Nearly 14,000 page views! December was about 10,000 so we're still growing like crazy. That's 7 times the traffic in just 5 months, in the off-season for crusing. I can't wait to see what this summer will hold!
Anyhow, thanks to all you out there who are helping make this site great. We couldn't do it without you! Keep the pictures, stories, articles, comments and whatever else you can find pouring in, I'm sure the entire cruiser community really appreciates it.
Until next time!
