I'm still stuck in London (which really isn't as good as it sounds!) but I heard some very sad news the other day which warrants a post.

One of our riders was involved in an accident after a ride a week or so ago. Apparently he is not doing well - I only have so many details but I'll let everyone know more as I hear it. He basically ended up under a car downtown. We should all send him our best wishes and I've heard some talk about setting up a collection for him, like I said I'll post more once I know more.

I can't say this enough - stay out of traffic on your bikes! There's no real reason to be riding in traffic - there are LOTS of quiet sidestreets in this city which are a much better place to be especially if you're not feeling too clear headed. I've posted a little Safety Rules for Cruising page because I don't want to see anything like this happen again. Please read it - they're not big rules but they can make all the difference.
