For those of you who don't know, Nico has been running a mailing list on SmartGroups for some time now - it's been a pretty good resource for all of us to find out about rides and plan to meet up, etc.

SmartGroups has been having a lot of problems over the past few months including emails not being delivered among other things. They've been saying it will be fixed for a while but now an announcement has come out stating that they're done, no more SmartGroups.

I'd like to take this opportunity to welcome any SmartGroups orphans to join us here at Vancruisers - you don't need to sign up to see what's happening but you'll get your slot in our member's list if you do. Hey, it's always a bonus to be able to say you're one of the first handful of members!

I know things tend to slow down a bit during the winter months - that doesn't mean we have to hang up our bikes though! I'll try and post some of the more 'spur of the moment' rides but you'll have to check regularly to keep an eye of what's going on.
