Well, it had to happen... it finally rained on a Friday!

I haven't been able to ride for a couple of Friday's in a row so I was really excited to get out yesterday. Of course the rain stopped for a LITTLE while around 6:00 so what could I do but go out?

Naturally by the time we got to the roundabout (8:20) the rain was DUMPING big time. Yuck. Gross. But like I said, I'd missed 2 weeks in a row, what could I do? Amber and David were total troopers so we did the ride anyhow.

Surprise surprise we didn't wait long (or at all) at the roundabout. Straight towards the gun and then to the concession stands by the totem poles. Stopped out of the rain for a quick break and then headed on.

Once you pass Lion's Gate things get really gross. Add the dark and it's not fun AT ALL. But what can you do?

We rode it out and got to the Burrard bridge super early - like 9:20. An hour to do the entire seawall. Amazing what happens when you REALLY don't want to stop!
