Sorry, this posted before I was really even started.

Anyway I have what I think is a Columbia Roadster or Schwinn Racer,I can't tell because previous owners spray painted it.

It has a fin on the front fender and so I'm thinking it's a Roadster.

It shifts OK (3 speed)but when Pedaling It losses pressure in the cranks for a moment every rotation or few.

The chain looks a little saggy so it might need a new one and a chain wheel and maybe flywheel?

I need to know if the hub could cause this.

I don't see how it could and I don't know what kind of (Sturmey Archer?) it is.

Other than that It seems to be a good solid bike,I can't afford to spend a lot to fix it up just now but I'd like to keep it a 3 speed and in good riding condition.

shift cable,,most likely out of adjustment,cable to loose?cable to tight?try that first.
